SHARI RIGGS

Shari started her career with Arthur Andersen in Boston in their Assurance practice group after receiving a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Denver. Following several years in public accounting with Arthur Andersen, then BDO Seidman in Chicago, Shari worked as a Director of Accounting and Operations with a Fortune 500 company in Denver and completed an Executive MBA at the University of Denver while there.

After business school, Shari and her husband left corporate America to establish a wine bar in Parker, CO, called Vines. Following a decade serving the Denver area with a 500+ bottle wine program and over 100 wines by the glass from their bustling historic storefront, they decided to go directly to the source, sold Vines, and moved to Napa in 2012. Shari worked at properties across Napa Valley as Wine Club Manager, Controller, and later General Manager before joining DP&F in 2019.

In addition to her extensive business, financial and hospitality experience, Shari is also a Certified Sommelier and she and her husband Lee love exploring wine country. Shari and Lee live in Napa with their Papi-Lhaso-Pinsch-Poo, Lexi, aka the snaggle-toothed princess.
